Terms of service

The terms on which you may use the website, the API, the MCP endpoint and the verdicts they produce.

In effect 12 August 2026 · English is the authoritative version

1. Who you are contracting with

Cabal Hunter is a business name used by a sole trader established in Ireland. References to we, us and Cabal-Hunter mean that business. References to you mean the person or organisation using the service.

By using the website, the API, the MCP endpoint, the embeddable badge or any other part of the service, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. What the service actually is

Cabal-Hunter reads public Solana blockchain data and produces an automated assessment of how exposed a token holder may be to coordinated selling. It returns a numeric score, a risk band and a set of individual findings, each with the on-chain transactions the finding was derived from.

The verdict is an opinion generated by software, not a statement of fact. It is not a warranty about any token, any wallet, any deployer or any person. A high score is not an accusation of fraud, and a low score is not a safety guarantee.

Specifically, and without limiting the above:

  • This is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice. We are not a broker, an adviser or a regulated financial institution, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
  • The analysis can be wrong. It depends on third-party RPC data, on heuristics with published thresholds, and on the state of a chain that changes between one block and the next. A scan describes what we observed at a moment in time.
  • Absence of a finding is not evidence of safety. Where a check could not be completed, the response is marked degraded. Treat a degraded response as incomplete, not as clean.
  • Reputation labels are mechanical. Labels such as SERIAL_LAUNCHER or DEAD_ON_ARRIVAL describe an observed pattern of past on-chain activity against published thresholds. They make no claim about any person's intent.

How the score is produced, and the exact thresholds, are published at /methodology. If you believe a verdict is wrong, use /contest.

3. You decide; we do not

You are solely responsible for every trading, integration and business decision you make. If you wire our output into an automated agent that transacts on your behalf, you are responsible for that agent, for the thresholds you set, and for everything it does. Test it before you fund it.

4. Accounts, API keys and credits

  • Free access is metered per IP address. Paid access uses an API key issued to you.
  • Your API key is yours to protect. Anyone holding it can spend its credits. Keep it out of client-side code and public repositories. Tell us at [email protected] if it leaks and we will rotate it.
  • Credits and plans are non-transferable and have no cash value except as set out in the refund policy.
  • Current prices, quotas and plan terms are those published at /pricing at the time of purchase.

5. Acceptable use

You may query the service, cache results for your own use, and build products on top of the API. You may not:

  • circumvent metering, quotas or the paywall — including rotating IP addresses or keys to obtain free capacity beyond the published allowance;
  • resell, redistribute or republish the output in bulk, or use it to build a substantially equivalent competing dataset or index, without our written permission;
  • scrape the website in place of using the API, or place load on the service that degrades it for others;
  • present our output as your own analysis, or present it in a way that removes or contradicts the assessment disclaimer;
  • use the service to harass, defame or threaten any person, or to represent to anyone that a named individual has committed a crime;
  • use the service unlawfully, or in breach of any sanctions or market-abuse rules that apply to you.

We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access that breaches this section. Where the breach is not serious and can be fixed, we will normally ask you to fix it first.

6. The embeddable badge

The badge is free to embed. When you embed it you must not alter the verdict it displays, and you must leave its link back to the full scan intact — the link is how a reader reaches the evidence and the disclaimer.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service up, but we do not commit to any service level, uptime percentage or response time, on free or paid tiers. The service depends on third-party infrastructure, including Solana RPC providers, and can be interrupted by them. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces something you have paid for, section 9 applies.

8. Intellectual property

The underlying blockchain data is public and we claim nothing over it. The score, the methodology, the deployer index as compiled, the site, the code and the Cabal-Hunter™ name are ours. "Cabal-Hunter" is used as an unregistered trade mark; no trade-mark registration is claimed.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law are unaffected by anything in these terms.

Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • the service is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose;
  • we are not liable for trading losses, lost profit, lost opportunity, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss, however caused;
  • our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or €100.

10. Indemnity

If you are using the service in the course of a business, you will indemnify us against claims and costs arising from your breach of section 5, or from how you have republished or acted on our output.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect is the one published here, dated at the top of the page. Material changes affecting paid customers will be sent to the email address on the account at least 14 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
